Among the range of current researches made on lignocellulosic feedstocks promotion, the CIMV technology is one of the only processes able to promote a wide range of renewable lignocellulosic plant resources and supply bio-based commodities to the 2G chemical industry and biotechnologies.

As a pioneer in its sector, the CIMV technology promotes the main components of lignocellulosic biomass after cleanly separating them – with no deterioration – into four intermediary products:

  • BioligninTM (phenolic polymer with a linear and a low molecular weight).
  • Cellulose
  • C5 sugars
  • Silica

This technology promotes the non-food part of the plant, such as straws from cereal corps, sugar cane bagasse, corn stovers or fibrous plant stalks, but can also treat hardwoods.
